ZAK | Centre for Cultural and General Studies

The ZAK is a central academic unit at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) that promotes the interdisciplinary and intercultural education. The Centre supports both the interdisciplinary exchange at the KIT and the dialogue between science and society. In this sense, the ZAK provides a crucial service to ensure the social responsibility of the KIT in Research, Education and Innovation in a sustainable way. By means of public science events, the ZAK communicates current research results and developments to an interested audience, and puts relevant topics up for discussion.
